Our Farm

Our Story and Who Lives Here

The farm where we operate is the childhood home of the farm’s mistress. Back then, there were no farm animals here (only dogs and cats), but with the birth of our children, the first birds and animals began to arrive.

2014. In May 2014, our first goats moved in. 2016. In the spring of 2016, a flock of sheep, our first chickens, and some ducks joined them. By late August, we welcomed our first horse, quickly followed by a second. By autumn, we were home to over 40 chickens and just as many ducks. 2017. However, on Independence Day in 2017, a wild animal attacked, leaving only one duck and three out of six geese alive. We started anew in the spring, adding quails to the family. For a while, we stopped keeping sheep and moved into full-time office jobs.

2020. In 2020, the mistress was gifted Flemish Giant rabbits, and you could say that’s when “real” farm life truly took off…

On our farm, all animals live as pets. We do not raise our animals or birds for meat!

Our animals did not arrive here as rescues (we are not a shelter); 99% of our animals have been carefully chosen and purchased to ensure their temperament and size are a perfect fit for our farm.

Since we have small children of our own, everything is built to be safe for even the youngest visitors.

Of course, this doesn’t mean nothing can ever happen—an animal is still an animal, and different situations can arise.

However, there is always a reason behind it.

Below, you can read more about who currently lives with us…

Meet the Residents

We only host traditional farm animals and birds. You can enter the enclosures of all our animals—even the cattle and geese… if you’re feeling brave enough!

Our roosters are all friendly and enjoy being held.

Our farm is home to charming mini-sheep: Bruno, Ülo, Nälg, and Võlg. Sharing their space are goats Siiri, Viivi, Juuli, Ingel, Zorro, and Möki. Our larger favorites include the horned cow Vissu and the smaller Vassu. Hiding in the hay is Deemon the pig and his slightly smaller friend Põssa-Põssa. Begging for carrots are our ponies: a currently unnamed lady, her daughter Luulu, and the handsome blonde stallion Anton. We still have horses as well: the large trotter Prints and a smaller Estonian horse, Etsu. They are the mistress’s riding horses and will hopefully be trained for sleigh rides in the future. They are all very friendly, love being petted, and will happily lick your hands and clothes clean!

Our Feathered Friends
The farm is busy with many different types of chickens, geese, ducks, and turkeys. Our chickens are raised to be friendly, and many will let you pick them up. From spring to late autumn, you’ll definitely see chicks of all ages. We also have quails, loud guinea fowls, and pheasants.

2023. In 2023, we added Estonian Native Chickens to our flock.

Other breeds we have include: Silkies, Brahmas, Cochins, Wyandottes, various layers (producers of colorful eggs), Buff Leghorns, and more. Please note: We do not currently raise chicks or chickens for sale.

2020. In the summer of 2020, Flemish Giant rabbits moved in—a turning point for the farm’s development. Once a year, we offer their kits for sale.

For breeding purposes (purebred offspring), we also have Burgundy Reds, Mini Lops, and French Lops.

For cuddling and renting, we have a whole group of mixed-breed rabbits.

Running around the farm are our German Shepherds, Stella (8 years old) and Loore (1 year old).

Roaming somewhere on their own are our mouse-catchers Ruudi, Jossu, and Kiisu-Miisu.

You are welcome to visit us in any weather! Just dress accordingly—in winter, make sure your feet are warm and dry.

Some of our birds and animals are housed indoors (unheated rooms), providing shelter from passing rain.

All our animals and birds are very child-friendly. Occasionally, we have a new resident who is still adjusting to our friendly pace of life; their enclosures will be closed to the public, so there’s no need to worry.

We currently sell various eggs (chicken, quail, goose, duck). 2024. From the spring of 2024, our Farm Market will be open, where you can buy fresh vegetables, berries, baked goods, eggs, and various goat milk products.

Bring your good mood and plenty of time to enjoy the animals in peace.

Welcome!
